Working Groups and Sub Committees
In Suen Chi Sun Hall, there are two Working Groups and five Sub Committees collaborating to provide our hall-mates with an enjoyable and meaningful hall life.
Cheers Working Group
Cheers Working Group is responsible for making and reviewing hall cheers. Cheering serves the purpose of strengthening the sense of belonging and expressing the enthusiasm of our hall-mates towards our Hall.
Photography Working Group
Photography Working Group helps mainly in taking photographs of different hall and Inter-hall activities for Suen Chi Sun Hall Students' Association. The working group is exceptionally important to our Hall in a sense that it captures the memorable and precious memories for our Hall. The Group welcomes both beginners and professionals with a passion for photography.

Current Affairs Sub Committee
Current Affairs Sub Committee organizes current affairs-related activities in our Hall to arouse hall-mates’ awareness towards public issues and to foster a sense of social responsibility among hall-mates. The Sub Committee is responsible for updating news and commentaries on the Current Affairs Board in our Hall lobby regularly together with organizing different kinds of activities related to social issues like making clips to report current issues and holding discussion forums.

High Table Dinner Sub Committee
High table dinner is a distinctive tradition at the University of Hong Kong. High Table Dinner Sub Committee helps in preparing and arranging each High Table Dinner; thus ensuring smooth running of the nights' programme. During each high table dinner, they work in teams for different duties such as receptionists and backstage helpers.
Publications and Publicity Sub Committee
Publications and Publicity Sub Committee is responsible for all publications of our Hall. The Sub Committee helps in the design and production of all our Hall products and publication of Hall newsletters annually. Furthermore, the Sub Committee also helps in publicizing different activities held by Suen Chi Sun Hall Students' Association and promoting the updated Hall news through different channels, including posting posters and videos on our official Youtube channel, Facebook Page and Hall Website. Hall-mates who are innovative and have an interest in publication work are welcomed to join.
Social Activities Sub Committee
Social Activities Working Group is formed to hold different social activities within our Hall in order to promote interaction among hall-mates. For example, a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration and a Vintage Party have been held to strngthen the bonding among hall-mates. Besides, these functions can essentially unify the hall-mates regardless of their curricula, nationalities and cultural backgrounds, thus have effectively helped everyone assimilate into our hall community.

Social Services Sub Committee
Social Services Sub Committee is responsible for organizing and inviting hall-mates to join different forms of social services. We hold firmly to our belief that university students and youths like us have the responsibility to contribute actively to society. The Sub Committee is formed by hall-mates who are devoted in organizing and participating in social services and voluntary work. For example, our Hall organized a charity sale by selling cookies in the Main Campus in late November 2012. The donation was transferred to Make A Wish Foundation, which helped 10 kids go to the Hong Kong Disneyland at Christmas.
